The eve of “The Last of Us Part II Remastered” launch! It has already launched in New Zealand, but not in Europe yet.
What can we post for the last day?
Only the rarest of rare, press/influencer/PlayStation Partner kit!
Only 200 made world wide, and given to very select people in some countries. It varies from press, internet magazine/review companies, YouTubers, Streamers, Standup comedians, Sports people or even musicians! Naughty Dog was really random!
Apart from them, only 2 more instances, where it was given away, were one where PlaystationUK arranged a giveaway through a streamer.
The second instance was when PlayStation Netherland gave it away on twitter to one fan!
Otherwise, in Germany, it was sold twice- once in 2020, through the then named ebayKleinanzeigen site!
The second one, which yours truly owns, was December 2023!
Until now, only three collectors are publicly known to own it – one in Germany, one in Austria and one in Greece!
What happened to the rest of the 197 pieces? Who knows! I have strong suspicion that they were sold/givenaway privately by the owners!
With this, we come to a close to the countdown! Tomorrow is the day we get the remastered version in hand and there seems to be new merchandises and promos lined up for it!
